Victorian Government Battery Storage Rebate
Installing storage batteries can result in annual savings of up to $640. Solar Victoria is providing qualified Victoria households with a battery storage rebate of up to $3500 in order to promote the installation and usage of energy-saving solar battery storage. The Solar Victoria Rebate may only be applied for once by qualified candidates. Nevertheless, interest-free loans for solar battery storage are not available under this rebate scheme.
By covering about 30% of installation expenses, up to roughly $18,500 for a big system, the Battery Storage Rebate in Victoria (under the new Federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program beginning July 2025) significantly lowers the cost of home batteries.
